Internet Explorer for Office Actvities
The discussion of Internet Explorer (IE) getting bumped by other browsers, may not completely correct. At least one independent survey says that about 80 percent of companies are still loyal to use Microsoft's browser for office activities.
The survey by Devil Mountain Software said, 80 percent of the 22,000 computers using Windows Xp Operating System, and rely on IE as their browser.
Devil Mountain Network collects realtime metric system and application usage data from Windows based computers and servers around the world. This information is then used to see the market trends that affect the Windows OS.
"Devil Mountain not only monitoring IE but also a large number of companies that use a lot of browsers, including Firefox and Google Chrome," said CTO Devil Mountain, Craig Barth.
Devil Mountain focus on the performance of software reliability survey, most of enterprise systems. According to Barth, Devil Mountain findings show that IE is still used by many companies.
